Beautiful antique wine bottle dating to approximately 1915, made in the distinctive tall and slender Rheinflöte (Rhine flute) form traditionally associated with Rhine wines.
One of the most attractive features of this bottle is its unusual deep blue glass colour. In normal room light the glass appears extremely dark, almost black, but when placed against strong natural light it reveals a beautiful rich blue / turquoise tone.
Please see the first photograph taken against the light – it shows the true colour and translucency of the glass particularly well.

The combination of the elegant Rheinflöte shape and unusual blue glass makes this bottle particularly decorative. It looks especially impressive when displayed in front of a window or another light source, where the otherwise very dark glass reveals its striking blue colour.
Ideal for an antique bottle collection, vintage glass collection, wine cellar, restaurant or bar display, or as a decorative window piece.
The wine glass shown in the photographs is for size reference only and is not included.
