Beautiful vintage handmade yo-yo quilt / coverlet made from hundreds of individually gathered fabric circles in a colorful mix of floral, striped, solid, and feedsack-style prints.
Measures approximately 80” x 50”.
This is an openwork yo-yo quilt with no backing or batting. The individual yo-yos are hand stitched together, leaving the traditional open spaces between the circles.
The fabrics appear to include a wonderful mix of older cotton prints, including florals, stripes, novelty patterns, and feedsack-era style fabrics. Exact age is unknown, but the quilt appears to be an older handmade textile.
Condition is vintage and imperfect. There are areas with fraying, worn fabric, loose or separated stitching, damaged yo-yos, and sections that may need repair or restoration. Please review all photos closely for condition. Sold as-is.
