A beautiful and unusual 19th century antique scent bottle / perfume bottle, made from thick yellow uranium glass, also known as vaseline glass, with an ornate hinged silver mount.
The yellow glass produces an exceptionally strong bright green fluorescence under UV / black light, as clearly shown in the photographs.
