Offered is a beautiful and highly decorative pair of antique English opera glasses/binoculars, marked “J. Whitehouse Optician” and “8 Coventry St. London.”
The glasses feature an ornate gilt/brass body with elaborate engraved and beaded decoration, along with attractive mother-of-pearl panels on the barrels. The intricate detailing and overall construction give these a particularly elegant period appearance.
