Original 1880s–1890s ninth-plate Victorian tintype photograph depicting two adult men and a young boy seated together in a studio setting. The backdrop features a painted seaside beach scene with ocean waves. The young boy in the center wears a sailor-style collared jacket and cap, seated between two men in Victorian suits holding derby/bowler hats. The photograph is captured on an unmounted dark iron metal plate. Physical condition shows light emulsion flaking along the upper margin, subtle surface scratches, and corner wear visible in the provided close-up photographs, with strong contrast across all three figures
