For Sale: One Antique Stanley Number 3 Hand Plane.

This unrestored example of a Type 6, Stanley No. 3 is in very good condition with all period correct parts. It has a nice weathered patina expected on a 130+ year old tool, and it functions as good as it looks. Bailey\'s Patent trademark is stamped on the chip breaker as well as in the recess of the depth adjuster, and there are three patent dates stamped on the lateral lever. The mouth is crack free. Both tote and knob are in good shape and it appears the tote is a No. 4 size, which is not uncommon. The \'Q\' Trademark blade is very sharp and cuts some nice curly shavings out of a slab of black walnut. This plane comes fresh out of Amish country and now available for you to use or displayed.
