Antique Manhattan Brass Company “Perfection” double-arm student lamp dating to the late 19th century. This impressive Victorian lamp was originally designed as a kerosene/oil lamp and was later converted to electricity.The removable center reservoir retains the embossed filling instructions, including “CLOSE THE VALVE AFTER FILLING.” This design is associated with the Manhattan Perfection Student Lamp patented November 22, 1881.Features:• Genuine late-Victorian double student lamp
