This Antique Maize Corn Single Blue Glass Shaker by Dithridge & Co from 1900 is a unique and collectible piece for any kitchen enthusiast. Standing at 3 inches tall and shaped like an ear of corn, this Victorian-style shaker is both functional and decorative. Made of blue glass in an ear of corn pattern, this original salt shaker is a rare find and a charming addition to any collection of kitchen tools and gadgets. Hidden under the lid are numerous small chips to the top of the glass threads. The very top is often thin fine glass that gets nicked easily with the continued taking on and off of the lid. There is one kernel as shown with a shallow hit nick. Other than the threads, there are no other cracks, or stress lines noted. The lid has a dent and a small flake to the bottom as shown. Thank you.
