Beautiful antique French Limoges porcelain cabinet plate by La Seynie / P&P France, dating to the early 1900s.This approximately 6-inch decorative plate features a finely hand-painted classical scene of a nude cherub / putto standing among softly draped lavender fabric and delicate pink roses. The background is rendered in soft pastel tones of blue, lavender, cream, and pale yellow, framed by a broad hand-gilded gold border.The painting shows lovely detail in the figure, florals, drapery, and shading, with visible hand-painted brushwork throughout.The plate bears a worn but identifiable La Seynie P&P France factory mark on the reverse. It is also artist signed, both within the painted decoration and again beneath the factory mark. The signature appears to read “O.
