Beautiful antique hand-quilted textile measuring approximately 64” x 74”, featuring individually pieced star/medallion blocks in indigo blue, soft red, pink, and faded early-print fabrics against a white ground.
This is a wonderfully timeworn piece with lots of character and visible hand quilting throughout. Several of the printed fabrics have experienced substantial age-related deterioration, leaving areas of exposed batting, fabric loss, seam separation, and fragile patches. There are also scattered age spots and overall vintage patina.
A special piece for someone who appreciates authentic antique textiles in their original, well-loved state. Wonderful for textile study, restoration, repurposing, cutter projects, display, photography, or salvaging the intact early fabrics and hand-quilted sections.
Condition: Heavily age-worn and fragile. Please review all photos carefully, as they are an important part of the description. Sold as found and recommended for restoration/project use rather than everyday bedding.
