Antique Hand Colored Glass Lantern Slide Romantic Couple Park Scene 4 x 3.5\"

ANTIQUE HAND-COLORED GLASS LANTERN SLIDE

Beautiful antique glass lantern slide featuring a romantic outdoor scene with a young woman and gentleman in a wooded park or garden.

The woman, dressed in a striking purple/lavender dress, stands beside a large tree while a gentleman in a suit and hat rests nearby. The surrounding landscape is richly colored with trees, foliage and a pink-toned sky.

The slide displays particularly attractive colors and fine detail when illuminated from behind.

Size: approximately 4\" × 3.5\"

The glass slide remains in its original black paper/card mount, with an old paper identification strip along one side.

PLEASE NOTE: Antique lantern slides were designed to be projected or viewed with light passing through the glass. The main photographs were taken with the slide illuminated from behind to show the original colors and details. Other photographs show how the slide appears under normal reflected light.

Vintage condition with expected signs of age and use, including wear to the mount, scratches, dust, marks and other age-related imperfections. No attempt has been made to clean or restore the slide.

Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition and details.
