Lot of two authentic antique panoramic glass magic lantern slides. They were manufactured by the legendary German toy maker Gebrüder Bing (Bing Brothers) in Nuremberg, Germany, dating from the late 1890s to early 1900s.Both slides feature the official interlocking "GB" diamond trademark logo printed in the upper right corner, confirming their origin from one of the most famous toy companies of the Victorian and Edwardian eras. These slides showcase beautifully preserved, hand-colored transfer-printed illustrations telling distinct sequential stories:
Slide No. 6 (Summer Countryside Scene): Features a lively progression of characters, including an elegant couple with a parasol, a boy chasing a butterfly with a net, playing children, a traditional traveling organ grinder with a performing monkey, and a young girl next to a 10 km milestone marker.
Slide No. 10 (Winter / St. Nicholas Scene): Features a classic European winter holiday narrative. It depicts an angel leading a horse-drawn wooden wagon packed with wrapped presents and a Christmas tree, followed by St. Nicholas in full bishop vestments with his pastoral staff, a traveling man tipping his hat, and an anxious child peeking out from a snow-dusted Gebrüder Bing (Nuremberg, Germany)
Estimated Era: circa 1895–1910
