Highest quality openescapement 8-daywind two train suspension spring solid brass plate unrestored movement insertedinto an "Over The Top" Eastlake Victorian designed polished black marble/slate stone case; ornately gilded & incised floral motifs coveringthe entire clock face; sloping sides of base rise upwards to form a longhorizontal base on which stands the impressive clock surrounded by an ornatelyconfigured pedestal flanked by 2 supporting stone scroll pieces; 2conical stone finials flank each side of the top of each scroll; clock casecontains a black stone larger sized stone topper; stonework masterfullyexecuted combined with the geometrical design; impressive sized clock case in perfect condition (very few minor nicksat each side of front base (see photos).
Highest quality unrestoredoriginal open escapement on white colored 2-step 3 ¾” diameter faceplate contains Romannumerals in black; accented with black French style Fleur de Lys hour/minuteclock hands; a small FAST/SLOW adjustment gear centered above numerals; matchingnumber 2144 adjustable weight pendulum to clock movement series number; front gildedbrass door frame fitted with a clear heavily beveled glass (free of anyscratches) snaps shut against the gilded bronze clock surround; the backsidecontains a second hinged brass door set into a brass door frame as a frictionfit; the large cast nickel bell resonates beautifully within the clock case; clockcase is an “over the top” designed black stone case which is accented by the sloppingbase sides; both movement & bell assemblies & the topper aremounted securely to case. (Topper to be removed from top of clock case prior to packing/shipping due to safety concerns).

I am NOTa retailer.I am anantique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. This clock comes from my collection & hasbeen running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to thisoffering. Clock set-up to establish thecorrect “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished throughplacement & leveling (sometimes with rotating the movement while in theclock case). Additionally, temperature& humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind the clock. Lastly,I cannot guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. However,I do take pride as a seller of my clocks & offer set-up assistance via emails.
Allshipments will be CAREFULLY & PERSONALLY WRAPPED in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrappedseparately) set tightly into box containing foam peanuts (as may be necessary), tapped shut& then placed into second box (as may be necessary) filled with padding foradded protection, taped shut on all sides: marble decorative topper will be removed prior to packing process (for safe keeping) and will need to be reinstalled upon clock set up process.
Any major defect will bestated & a photo associated with this defect is provided which is intendedto illustrate the extent of the defect. Onoccasion, Seller may miss something. Therefore, please notify Seller if Buyerdetects any inaccuracy so that Seller may address it immediately. Seller caresgreatly about Buyers, making sure the Buyer gets exactly what they want, &that Seller is ready to hear from Buyers.
Unless stated otherwise, all clocks are tested & found ingood working order when listed will be tested prior to shipping to complete any finaladjustments to ensure proper working conditions prior to shipping.
Clock set-up assistance may be offered to the Buyer, via email,to help with making clock adjustments as a courtesy. Alternatively, if Buyer isunsure about making adjustments to the clock, Buyer may wish to enlist aclockmaker at Buyer’s expense.
Buyer response is paramount to my Seller reputation, and Sellerwill strive to meet all the Buyer’s needs & address any issues as soon aspossible.
Lastly, be aware that “Antique”, “Vintage” & “Pre-Owned” clocksgenerally don't keep perfect time.
The clock will be insured for loss only during shipping process.
