Add charming Art Deco-era style to a vanity or dresser with this antique Madame Pompadour porcelain dresser doll, featuring an elegant lady dressed in a flowing pink period gown with a fitted bodice, full skirt, delicate blue striped center panel, green bow accents, and a white bonnet. The hollow porcelain figure was designed as a decorative dresser doll or vanity ornament, with her outstretched hands holding the folds of her skirt to create the graceful silhouette associated with 18th-century court fashion. The underside is clearly marked “Madame Pompadour Dresser Dolls – E & R – Germany,” identifying this as German export porcelain. Based on the styling, construction, and mark, this piece dates approximately to the 1920s–1930s and was manufactured in Germany. A beautiful collectible for displays of antique German porcelain, boudoir dolls, half dolls, vanity accessories, flapper-era decor, and figural porcelain. Good antique condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
