Up for your consideration is a remarkable, double-sided 19th-century antique photograph (likely a daguerreotype or ambrotype) housed in a stunning, highly detailed ornate pendant.

• Front Side: Features an endearing portrait of two young boys standing beside a draped studio table. Their period outfits, complete with button details and waist sashes, suggest mid-to-late 19th-century fashion.
• Reverse Side: Features a smaller oval portrait of a young man inset into a solid, heavy metal backing.
• Frame: The piece is set in a beautifully patterned, oval gold-tone/gilded metal frame with a distinct foliate hanging bale at the top, perfect for displaying on a wall or stand.

I believe this is a mouorning pendant. There are two boys on the fron of the pendant and smaller picture of a man on the reverse side. Not sure if the man is one of the two small boys.
