Antique DOUBLE NAIL CLAW HAMMER PAT. NOV 4 1902 Carpenter Cabinetmaker Home Barn:

The Hammer was patented by George F. Voight number 712983. Nails used to be very expensive and the extra claw allowed you to pull them without bending them. The handle is not cracked or splintered. In pic.14 you can see a chipped spot on one of the claws.
The Hammer is 13 1/4" long.
