DESCRIPTION:
- This antique mini-medal is a souvenir from the 1892-1893 World\'s Columbian Exposition (Chicago World\'s Fair).
- Front side has the image of Christopher Columbus & \"1492 - 1892\" (at bottom), while the reverse side has the entire Lord\'s Prayer in micro-text
- Very small, ~1/2\" (0.5\") diameter medallion
- Material: Gilt brass (a thin layer of gold over brass)
- Small hole at top with a 1.5\" fragment of original (?) brass chain still attached
- This medal was one of a collectible set of six produced for the exposition featuring historic American images: Grant\'s Tomb, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Christopher Columbus, Liberty Bell, and Machinery Hall.
- This belonged to one of my ancestors (4-ish generations back)
