Authentic, beautiful antique Chinese export pewter tea set made by the famous Kut Hing workshop in Swatow, China (circa 1890-1910).
This is a complete premium collector's set featuring intricately hand-chased raised designs of imperial dragons, phoenixes, and traditional floral motifs. The handles and spouts feature stunning organic, stylized details.
What is included:
• Teapot with its original fitted lid.
• Original Internal Tea Strainer (This piece is almost always lost over time-very rare to find intact!).
• Lidded Sugar Bowl with double handles.
• Creamer / Milk Pitcher with single handle.
• Matching Round Serving Tray with matching central dragon engraving.
Markings:
The bottom of the pieces features the clear, authentic stamped maker's mark reading: "KUT HING PEWTER SWATOW"
Condition:
The set is in overall impressive antique condition considering it is over 100 years old. It shows some light surface scuffs, a couple of minor dings, and very small dents consistent with genuine age and use. There are no major structural damages, heavy disfigurements, or cracks.
