Antique C.1920's Luis Hidalgo Mexican "Dama en Invierno" Wax Figurine w/ Original Glass Display Dome. The wax model depicts a "woman in winter", while Hidalgo was visiting New York City, about 1927.
Luis Hidalgo (1901-1986) was a wax and waxen fabrics modeler. It's noted that he comes from a line of ancestors who devoted themselves to wax modeling. Hidalgo was most known for wax figurines portraying famous men, such as fighters to generals and poets to politicians. He also had a talent for incorporating the caricature art style in his wax figures.

Condition:Good condition. Left leg has some cracking and boot is missing upper ankle part, see photos.
