This listing is for an Old Vintage Elmira # 100 Pattern American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Large 12\" T x 7.25\" W Tazza / Compote / Pedestal Footed Bowl. Hexagonal 6 sided notched stem with inverted teardrop hollow air bubble inside. Cupped in shaped bowl with sawtooth rim. 32 point rayed base.
*I will be selling all of my cut glass (about 100 pieces) over the next few weeks. So be sure to check back for new additions.
It is in great condition overall with no large chips, cracks, or repairs. Top sawtooth rim, stem, and foot edge all look perfect. A few small chips and flakes to the pattern around bowl (photos 19-23), are the worst. 2 small nicks between rays on bottom of foot (photo 24). Age appropriate shelf wear to base. No other notable issues. Very clean and crystal clear in and out. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item).
It is big, heavy, and very fragile weighing 5.8 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed.
It measures 12\" tall, 7 13/16\" at widest part of bowl, 6 1/4\" across top rim, and 6 3/16\" at the base or foot.
Please feel free to Email with any questions and be sure to check out my other MCM, glassware, pottery, and antique items. Thanks!
