Antique Ashcroft Mfg Co 12\" Brass Steam Pressure Gauge FOR PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY
This listing is for a vintage or antique 12\" pressure gauge by The Ashcroft Manufacturing Company. It features a cast metal form with an embossed metal dial that includes pressure readings from 0-200 (which leads me to believe it was made for use with steam pressure but I cannot guarantee), what appears to be black enamel fill on the embossed numbers and dial face, a clover style needle with a black finish and what appears to be a brass metal front frame/cover. I do not know what the original use was for but I have seen similar and near identical gauges listed as being used for steam locomotives but I cannot guarantee if that is an accurate attribution so please do your own due diligence in determining what the original use might have been if that is of importance to you. Will make a great addition to collections including Naval collectibles, ship/nautical, Railroad, steam engine, industrial, Steampunk and more.
It is in AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY UNTESTED condition with wear including the front glass is missing, heavy wear to all metal surfaces including verdigris, scratches, corrosion, gouges, denting/bowing on the brass frame, I do not know if it can be restored and made functioning in it\'s current condition, I do not know if there are missing components on the inside and MORE so please read complete details below and review photos closely for condition. Please note that the piece will be properly packaged and boxed in order to avoid any damage during transit AND if the cost to ship to your location ends up being less than the shipping cost paid I will happily refund the difference once the item has shipped. IF you have any questions or would like to see additional photos/etc please let me know.Thank you and enjoy!ITEM DETAILS:
