Up for sale or purchase is a wonderful, highly collectible antique child\'s nursery alphabet ABC plate from the late 19th to early 20th century. This beautiful piece of early American stamped tinware features the full alphabet embossed around the wide outer rim—traditionally used in Victorian households to help children practice their literacy at the dinner table. The central dish showcases a crisp, detailed relief scene illustrating the classic nursery rhyme, complete with a perched sparrow and bold text reading: \"WHO KILLED COCK ROBIN - I KILLED COCK ROBIN I SAID THE SPARROW WITH MY BOW & ARROW.\"

• Scale & Display: Measures approximately 7.75\" in diameter. A fantastic size for display in an antique hutch, as part of a gallery wall grouping, or on a tabletop easel.
• Material & Build: Crafted from lightweight stamped sheet tin, capturing deep mold depth and excellent detail definition. It has a beautiful weight and flat silhouette.
• Condition Notes: This plate is in superb structural shape. Unlike many soft tin plates of this age, it has not suffered from hard folds, deep creases, or rusted-through pinholes. The front face retains a stunning, stable pewter-like color with honest minor aging marks, while the reverse features a completely natural, dark aged patina. I have chosen to leave this item completely uncleaned and unpolished, leaving the historical patina fully intact for the new owner.

A truly exceptional crossover collectible for enthusiasts of antique ABC nursery plates, early children\'s toys, and primitive Americana metalware. Please review all photos carefully to inspect the authentic wear and patina. Thank you for looking!
