Antique 1935 Millers Falls Goodell Pratt Catalog 41 and Matching Mailing Envelop:
$145.00

This is a phenomenal piece of American tool history and localized ephemera. This listing is for an intact, matching set featuring the landmark 1935 Millers Falls & Goodell-Pratt Consolidated Catalog No. 41 paired directly with its original factory paper mailing envelope.
Finding pre-war tool catalogues in great condition is excellent, but finding one still preserved inside its native, typed postal envelope from 91 years ago is incredibly rare.
Included are the Millers Falls & Goodell-Pratt Full-Line Catalog No. 41 (1935), 240 pages measuring slightly larger than 5" x 7" x 1/3"This catalog marks the historic first consolidated catalog printed after the Millers Falls Company acquired the prestigious Goodell-Pratt Company in 1931. It serves as an essential reference guide for identifying transition-era pre-war hand drills, bit braces, micrometers, machinist tools, and woodworking planes. It is in excellent vintage condition. The iconic bright red cover is in good condition but with an indentation and slight wear from the envelope clasp over the years (see photos). The spider binding remains completely intact without splitting or library tape and the interior pages are clean and legible.
Also included is the Original Factory Mailing Envelope (Sibilsky Family Provenance) addressed to Mr. John R. Sibilsky at 94 Third Street in Laurium, Michigan, from Millers Falls Company's Greenfield, Massachusetts address. The official return address and a bold crimson logo medallion reading "Consolidated Catalog Number 41".
This set also represents a wonderful piece of Upper Peninsula (U.P.) Michigan history. The Sibilsky family ran a prominent, multi-generational regional store in Eagle Harbor, Keweenaw Peninsula, and also Superior Pharmacy in Laurium, Michigan.
