A gorgeous early vintage camp blanket with an exceptional Southwestern geometric design and a wonderfully soft, timeworn color palette.
Believed to date to approximately the 1930s–1940s, this piece features the bold geometry and softly shaded ombré coloration associated with early Beacon-style camp blankets. No maker's label remains, so Beacon manufacture cannot be definitively confirmed.
What really sets this blanket apart is its color. Layers of melon coral, powdery cobalt blue, sky blue, apricot, sea glass, powdered purple and warm neutrals come together in a beautifully faded geometric pattern, finished along the edges with a delicate soft peach trim. The decades have softened the colors beautifully without taking away the visual impact of the design.
Measurements: Approx. 72" × 76"
The blanket has a substantial, cozy feel with a wool-like hand. No fiber-content label remains; it may be a wool/cotton blend, although exact fiber composition cannot be confirmed.
CONDITION
Structurally, this blanket remains in very nice condition considering its considerable age. It carries plenty of authentic vintage character, including permanent rust-colored staining/discoloration, scattered old paint spots, fading, surface/nap wear and other signs of age and use. Please review all photographs closely as they are an important part of the condition description.
I have personally taken the time to carefully hand wash this blanket twice. The remaining stains and marks did not lift and should be considered permanent, but the blanket itself is clean and ready for its next home.

Nearly a century of history, with all the beautiful imperfections and character to prove it.
