The back of the original mount has handwritten names and ages, appearing to identify the children as members of the Simmons family. One appears to be listed as approximately 3 years 9 months old and the other approximately 2 years 2 months old. Please see the close-up photographs of the handwriting and use your own judgment regarding the exact names.
Based on the clothing, hairstyles, photographic presentation and apparent age of the mount, this photograph appears to date from approximately the early 1900s to 1910s.

Also included is a larger vintage photographic copy of the same image. After closer examination, the larger loose photograph appears to be a later photograph/reproduction of the original photograph and is NOT being represented as an original period print.
The original mounted photograph has considerable age-related wear, including staining, water marks/discoloration, spotting and wear to the mount. The larger copy also shows age and handling wear. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
