Offered to you is this lovely Dalmatian dog figurine made either in the middle to late 18th century to early 19th century. It is hand painted and does have some paint loss due to age. No chips, cracks, or damage. There is some crazing at the base from age.
This dog was made in the traditional English style and considered to be rare and hard to find. Measures 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide.
The Gold Anchor mark is the logo for Chelsea Porcelain founded in 1745 in England. It is painted on the back of the figurine and not the bottom.
There is a chance that it could be a Samson of Paris reproduction of the Chelsea dog figurine which were made in the late 19th century. I am not a porcelain expert but from my research I have done, I do think it is earlier and I honestly think it is an original Chelsea dog figurine. Because I don't know for sure, my price is low.
From a smoke free home. This lovely dog will be well packed and shipped quickly to you for your convenience.
