This is a highly decorative early cast-metal letter/paper clip with strong Art Nouveau / Art Nouveau-influenced styling. The woman’s face projects prominently from the center of the flower, with beautifully detailed petals and flowing decorative elements.
The underside is clearly stamped 5178, identifying this piece as the Judd #5178 Iris Flower Woman design.
