Thank you for looking,The Mumm brothers established their champagne business in France during the 20s-50s, although the manufacturing and production of the company now takes place in Napa Valley, CA. G.H. Mumm became an official sponsor for Formula 1 racing and provided the champagne bottles for the race winners at the podium. This small collectible G.H. MUMM & Co. Reims label, circa 1920 bottle opener is made of dark metal with a steel bottle cap opener. The bottle cap as well as the collar consist of brass. The label shows a few worn off spots and signs of aging. The opener itself is easy to use, press the cap and the opener falls down with gravity. Turn it upside down and press the cap once again, and it does back inside the bottle. This particular bottle opener style is rare, mostly made in the 1920s, but were used as give-a-ways in the 1940\'s.PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES.
