Overlay Bronze Patina; in excellent, pristine condition

without any cracks, nor breaks to the glass, (missing is the glass ink receptacle), probably can be found on the internet.

In the late 1800’s, Apollo Studios was located at 542 Broadway in Manhattan, and was a division of Bernard Rice & Sons- items marked with the Apollo stamp were made from 1910 until 1922. A contemporary of Tiffany, Apollo Studios was operated by Bernard Rice and his eldest son, Jacques. Later, after the father’s passing in 1902, Jacques and his brothers continued as makers of fine desk sets in the Mission School of Design called the Skyscraper Line

developed by Lewis W. Rice, which continued to spread and was widely documented in most of the important referenced books on American Modernism.
