Metaphysical Properties of Nephrite Jade
Nephrite jade has been prized for thousands of years — particularly in Chinese culture, where it's often called the "Stone of Heaven" — for its purported energetic and healing associations. Practitioners of crystal healing associate nephrite with:
Harmony & Balance — believed to promote emotional equilibrium and inner peace
Protection — historically carried or worn as a protective talisman against negative energy
Abundance & Prosperity — long associated with good fortune, wealth, and luck in Chinese tradition
Heart Chakra Connection — thought to support the heart chakra, encouraging love, compassion, and self-acceptance
Physical Wellness — some traditions associate it with supporting the kidneys and detoxification (nephrite's name derives from the Greek nephros, meaning kidney)
Grounding Energy — valued for its calm, stabilizing presence, said to help reduce stress and anxiety
Wisdom & Clarity — historically linked to clear thinking and sound judgment in decision-making
Please note: metaphysical properties are based on traditional and cultural beliefs, not scientific claims. This listing is intended for collectors, lapidaries, and those who appreciate jade's cultural and historical significance.
