22.65 grams - I am selling multiple lots of these so the weight is only used to differentiate the difference in the lots.
Lot of 50 assorted Catholic religious/devotional medals, acquired as part of an estate collection in Quebec City, Canada.
This is an interesting mixed group of small religious medals representing a variety of Catholic subjects. The assortment includes Marian and Miraculous Medal imagery, various saints, crosses, devotional and pilgrimage-style medals, and other Catholic iconography. Many have French or European inscriptions, and a number appear to be marked or identified with France and Italy.
These are predominantly lightweight, silver-tone base-metal medals. I am not representing the lot as sterling or solid silver. Individual metal compositions have not been tested.

Age / Identification:
I believe these are primarily vintage Catholic devotional medals, with the collection likely spanning different periods rather than representing a single matched set. The European manufacture, French-language inscriptions, designs and general wear are consistent with older devotional medals, but I have not individually researched or dated all 50 pieces. Please use the detailed photographs for identification of individual medals.
Condition:
Mixed estate condition with age-appropriate wear. Expect surface scratches, oxidation/tarnish, discoloration, plating wear, worn inscriptions, bent or darkened attachment rings and other signs of previous use. Some medals are considerably more worn than others. They have not been aggressively cleaned or polished.
You will receive the exact group of 50 medals shown in the photographs. Please review the photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description and show the assortment and condition much better than an individual written inventory could.
