Pfaltzgraff released its Tea Rose pattern—including matching metal enamelware nesting bowls—during the late 1980s (circa 1985–1990), matching the broader introduction of the Pfaltzgraff Tea Rose dinnerware line in 1985.These 4 nesting bowls are metal with a cream enamel interior and exterior. They are in excellent, almost perfect, condition:A) 8"diameter, 4 1/8" high
B) 7 1/8" diameter, 3 3/4" high
C) 6 1/2" diameter, 3 1/4" high
D) 5 3/4" diameter, 3" highBowl (C) shows the most wear (which isn't much), with some faint discolorations from a metal utensil. HOWEVER, these are not scratches. I ran my fingernails over each one and they don't catch. In other words, these are little trails where the utensil left some of its metal behind on the surface, but didn't impact the enamel underneath. There are also three tiny pinpricks of brown at the lip - they may be rust (please see pictures of bowl interior). The other bowls look like they just came from the store and may never have been used.I seriously considered keeping this set, but I had to remind myself that you can't keep everything! However, they're an incredible vintage find, and you'll be glad you got them.
