This fascinating piece of vintage Colorado history features an original 35mm educational filmstrip titled "From Statehouse to Schoolhouse - Part 1: A Tour of the Colorado State Capitol." The reel includes beautifully framed celluloid color images documenting the capitol building, views of Denver's mid-century downtown skyline (featuring landmarks like the Hilton and Security Life buildings), and a guided walkthrough hosted by Gail Holden, Miss Colorado 1974. Marked with standard "Safety Film" edges and preservation sprocket holes, the roll shows typical light curling from storage but remains transparent with crisp titles and vivid imagery. It makes a remarkable historical collectible for local educators, Colorado history buffs, or vintage ephemera collectors.
