LOT OF 31 VINTAGE WOODEN THREAD SPOOLS, BELDING CORTICELLI, COATS & CLARK’S, TALON, STAR/AMERICAN THREAD CO.

Here are 31 vintage wooden spools of thread that originally belonged to my aunt, who lived from 1916 - 1972. Most of them date from the 1950s and 1960s. 4 of the threads are silk; the rest appear to be cotton. Size of spool, colors and thickness of the thread vary. Some of the threads may be too old to be used for sewing. All are ideal for collecting, crafting, or art.

CONDITION

Solid wood spools, most with stamp/labels intact, others with partial label, 1 with no label. Spool fullness varies from full to partially used. Please see all photos for cosmetic details.
