This is a distinctive piece of Toledo, Ohio Jeep Wrangler Fordite, also known as Jeepite or automotive paint slag. The material formed from layers of cured automotive paint accumulating during the vehicle painting process. Toledo Jeep material is specifically recognized as a source of collectible Fordite.
This specimen has an especially unusual three-dimensional natural drip formation, with tightly layered bands of burgundy, maroon, gray, black, white, red, yellow and brown. The exposed layered face has striking concentric banding and a distinctive contrasting center.
