An absolutely wonderful Grandmacore time capsule — a collection of 24 original vintage photographs chronicling Martha, Arthur, their family and friends across decades. These are the kind of photographs that feel like opening an old box in Grandma’s attic and discovering an entire little world inside. ❤️Dating primarily from the late 1930s through the 1950s, the collection is filled with wonderfully candid faces: big smiles, girlfriends posing together, couples squeezing into the photo booth, fabulous hats, dresses, jewelry, hairstyles and unmistakable mid-century charm. Many are original Photomatic photo booth photographs produced by the International Mutoscope Corporation of New York City and remain in their charming original miniature Photoframe mounts.Best of all, many have been handwritten with names and dates, including repeated photographs of Martha and Arthur. Dates visible throughout the collection include 1938, 1943, 1944, 1947 and 1950.There is even a later 1966 beach photograph, giving this little archive the feeling of following the same people through their lives. One Photomatic also has a wonderful “Souvenir of the Nation’s Capital – Washington, D.C.” back.Pure Grandmacore CharmThis collection has everything that makes Grandmacore / nostalgic vintage photography so appealing:* Tiny framed family photographs
