Mercedes introduced the 500E, the top-of-the-line V8 version of the famous W124 300-class, for the 1992 model year.This rare brochure was not given out to dealers or customers and therefore was very rare.
The 500E is shown on the front coverpages in a red-metallic color.
The inside pages focus on the details of the new 500E with details such as:
- Pictures of the dashboard, the 16-inch wheels, and then 322-hp engine
- Discussion on the development, change in appearance, and more…
The back side has some technical specifications.
The remained essentially unchanged until 1994. For the final year in 1994 it received a face-lift and the car was renamed E500 to adapt to Mercedes new nomenclature.
