The Canadian Goonies cards came in boxes of General Mills cereals, only Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios that I am aware of. They were issued one per box. The promotion was very short-lived as there was a fantastic contest offering kids a chance to win a “Caribbean Adventure” to Barbados with 3 friends as well as a truckload of toys from Consumers Distributing! They hid a treasure map somewhere in Canada and you were supposed to use the clues on the backs of all 10 cards to find its location. If you did, you had a chance to win the trip. Since the prize was a substantial one, the cards and cereal boxes were not available on the shelves for long. This is why they are so scarce. This is the full set!!!
