Beautiful Halcyon Days Enamels 1981 Christmas Box titled “A Christmas Garland.”
This collectible hinged enamel box features colorful birds, holly, berries and ribbon surrounding the “Christmas 1981” inscription. The inside of the lid features a delicate bird perched among holly leaves.
The original Certificate of Authenticity identifies the design as “A Christmas Garland,” drawing by Pam Gardner, and states that the piece was enameled on copper in Bilston, England.
According to the original certificate, boxes from this edition were not to be produced after 1981 and the relevant design material was to be destroyed before January 1, 1982.
