Rare original 1965 British Invasion / rock & roll fan memorabilia collection, all associated with the original owner, Robert Del Sesto of Grafton, Ohio.
Included are three vintage pieces:
• Official Rolling Stones Fan Club of America membership card, issued to Robert Del Sesto and dated August 25, 1965. Features a vintage black-and-white image of The Rolling Stones on the reverse.
• British Entertainers' Fan Club membership card issued to Robert Del Sesto and dated August 14, 1965. The card identifies Theresa Counce and includes attached vintage fan-club imagery.
• KAMMS Beatles Bus card personalized to Robert Del Sesto. This unusual Beatles concert-era piece includes humorous wording instructing that if the holder is found "overcome by the Beatles Concert," he should be returned to the KAMMS Beatles Bus, along with a reference to a drawing for the new Beatles album.
An unusual group of original 1965 memorabilia connecting The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and the British Invasion fan-club culture of the era.
All three pieces came together and carry the same original owner's name, providing a particularly interesting period connection.
