Charming Mid-Century Santa Claus with some working lights lighting others not. This set is typical mid-60s style yet hard to find as boxed and in displayable condition. Plus this is the more desirable illustrated box and what I find particularly unusual is the box art artist had to have the actual sleigh in front of them when making the illustration because it closely matches what is included… which are Santa in his sleigh, two poseable-head reindeer and pixie elves. Besides the two elves pictured a third “extra” elves is included standing on a gold painted base. The third elves holds a lantern and is made the same way as those with the sleigh. One box end reads there are to be, or were ten replacement bulbs. Inside is an open torn plastic bag with one screw-in untested blue bulb. The sleigh nearly fills the box which measures 15 1/2 inches long. I took pictures with lights both on and off to show that when off, the color bulbs have good color. The back side of the sleigh does have on the red foil panel something similar to spray-snow over-spray. It wouldn’t simply rub off and I did not want to cause harm so I didn’t use any solvant. There is no smell to this item. Sold as-is, as pictured and described. See Photos and ask questions in advance.
