Fabulous illustrationsby E. Rachev for the fairy tale “The Sane Hare” by M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin.\"The Sensible Hare\" is a satirical fairy tale by M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin, in which the hero discusses the fate of hares and their destiny to be eaten.
The hare believed that the destiny of hares is to be eaten, that is why they exist.Having met the fox, the hare submitted to fate, although he had a chance to escape. The fox played with the hare for a long time and finally ate him.
The idea of the tale is that the hero elevated the tragic situation of the worker to a special philosophy of doom and sacrifice. Convinced that the wolves \"will not stop eating\" the hares, the sensible \"philosopher\" developed an ideal for improving life, which boiled down to a project for more rational eating of hares (not all at once, but one by one).
... Or maybe you will have mercy? — the hare made a timid assumption in a low voice.“It’s not getting any easier hour by hour!” - the fox became even more angry, - where have you heard that foxes have mercy, and hares receive mercy?. is a postcard from 1957 featuring the fairy tale \"Sane Hare\" with a depiction of a fox getting angry, created by the artist RACHEV from the USSR (Soviet Union). The postcard is a printed lithograph on paper, depicting an illustrated scene in a continental size. It is signed by the artist and showcases elements of art, animals, fairy tales, humor, and cultures & ethnicities.
Approx. size:4.1\" x 5.9\" (10 x 15 cm)
