An original vintage September 1952 RIDGID Tools calendar piece featuring artwork by celebrated American pin-up illustrator George Petty.
This documented Petty composition is known as Miss Ridgid Tools and was created for the September 1952 RIDGID calendar. A smiling redheaded Petty Girl in a bright pink outfit, oversized sun hat and ballet-style shoes poses alongside an enormous RIDGID No. 4P Heavy-Duty Geared Pipe Threader—a wonderful combination of classic mid-century pin-up illustration and American industrial advertising.
The image was part of George Petty\'s celebrated work for the Ridge Tool Company. Petty\'s RIDGID campaign paired his glamorous Petty Girls with dramatically oversized industrial tools and machinery, creating some of the most distinctive advertising pin-up imagery of the period.
This is an original 1952 commercially printed calendar piece, not a modern reproduction.
The lower calendar grid has been torn away at some point in its history. Importantly, the primary advertising composition remains remarkably complete, including the Petty Girl, pipe threader, large RIDGID logo, New No. 4P Heavy-Duty Geared Pipe Threaders wording, September, both 1952 dates and the small © GIRL-O-PETTY 1952 marking within the image.

Condition
Good vintage condition. The calendar portion along the bottom has been torn away, leaving an irregular lower edge. There is a small hole near the upper center and two horizontal creases across the upper portion. The image retains strong, attractive color and displays especially well despite these condition issues. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the description.
