Original 1950s Chesterfield Cigarettes advertising sign featuring Paul Douglas, promoting Chesterfield as his "steady smoke for 22 years." This is a large format, professionally dry mounted cardboard sign, likely produced for in store wall or counter display during Chesterfield's major postwar advertising push.

Measures 21 x 22 inches. Paper shows visible creases that occurred prior to mounting, with light edge, corner, and surface wear consistent with age and display use. Colors remain strong, and the central image of Douglas is clean and well preserved.

Chesterfield was one of the dominant U.S. cigarette brands of the mid 20th century, heavily using celebrity endorsements in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Paul Douglas, known for both film roles and radio broadcasting, was a recognizable public figure during this period.
