Original 1949 advertising postal card promoting Wynn\'s Friction Proofing Oil, a popular mid-century automotive oil additive and engine treatment. The card features bold advertising text encouraging dealers to stock and sell the product, making it an attractive piece of automotive advertising history.
Mailed from Gloversville, New York, this card represents postwar American automotive culture when oil additives and engine treatments were heavily marketed to service stations, garages, and automotive retailers across the country.
A nice collectible for advertising, petroleum, automotive, service station, and New York postal history collectors.
