1942 Baldwin Locomotive Works 6,000 HP Experimental Diesel-Electric Locomotive Blueprint – 4-8+8-4-750/8-DE – Pre-Centipede. This diagram reflects a one off experimental locomotive that was never fully scaled to production. In many cases it was the predecessor to the "Centipede" locomotive.
Approximate dimensions 66.26" x 30.5". Item will shipped folded as it was stored folded. We believe this document is pre production based on the 1942 dates. The locomotive was officially "released" in 1943.
Item was sourced from the estate of a former Baldwin employee.
Overall good to fair condition with some defects consistent with age and handling. Signs of clean creases from storage folding. Signs of edge discoloration and print fading. One pronounced weak spot hole on a fold. Otherwise signs of corner, edge, and surface wear consistent with age and handling. Item as pictured.
