Up for sale is a rare piece of 1930s entertainment and petroliana advertising history: an original 1937 promotional theater flyer featuring legendary comedian Eddie Cantor. The front displays a striking black-and-white portrait of Cantor copyrighted by 20th Century-Fox Film Corp. with a facsimile signature, while the reverse side features a fantastic advertisement urging drivers to "Be Motor Wise Buy Texaco Fire Chief Gasoline." This flyer double-functions as a localized broadside for the Liberty Bell Theatre, listing Gerald McMillan as the local agent alongside historic dealership locations in Leadville, Minturn, and Red Cliff, Colorado. The paper shows authentic vintage character with light handling creases, minor edge crinkling, and gentle age-toning, but remains entirely intact with no major rips or stains. Please review all provided photos to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition of this double-sided collectible; it is a superb cross-over piece for vintage movie memorabilia enthusiasts or antique gas and oil collectors alike.
