The product is a vintage 1935 Mickey Mouse trading card featuring the character Mickey Mouse with movie star Mae West. This original non-sport trading card is part of the Mickey Mouse with Movie Stars set by Gum Incorporated and has been professionally graded as a 1 by Sportscard Guaranty Corporation (SGC).
This card is ultra rare. Like the rest of the R90 extension set, Gum, Inc. released these cards without securing proper legal likeness rights from the celebrities. Mae West, who fiercely protected her image and intellectual property, was part of the reason the set faced immediate legal pressure and a hushed, incredibly short distribution run.
Because the plug was pulled so quickly on production, very few Mae West cards survived the era.
