Nice early automobile license plate dating from 1931. Black background with light-colored riased numbers and "MAINE 1931" along the bottom.
This is an unrestored plate showing age-related wear including paint loss, surface rust, scratches and discoloration and areas of weathering throughout. The registration number and year remain clearly readable despite the wear.
I have not cleaned or restored the plate. It is being sold in its original as-found condition, with all imperfections left intact. Please examine all photos carefully for exact condition. The plate pictured is the plate you will receive.
Expired collectible license plate more than 3 years old.
