1930 Vintage Press Photo by ASSOCIATED PRESS.King Carol of Romania paid a surprise visit to the barracks of the 6th Infantry in Bucharest, his former comrades. He was presented with a silver plaque as a token of affection from the soldiers. The regiment has been appointed as guard to the king.
